Caveat: the maps below are likely wrong. Please don't use them as examples of good concept maps. They're only shared publicly to document the tool's evolution.

First Try

Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse - A concept map by LLMapper

LLMapper is still producing “scattered” maps – i.e., those that don’t have a central subject.

Second Try

Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse - A concept map by LLMapper

After tweaking the RDF prompt to focus on a central subject. Much better than the first try. (Still, some relationships aren’t clear — “Port of Baltimore blocked maritime access” doesn’t seem right.)

Third Try

Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse - A concept map by LLMapper

No changes to the prompts – just re-running to see the changes to the RDF prompt are taking. Good enough, but a poorer map than the second one.

Comments

Concept maps are useful for understanding complex situations such as yesterday’s tragic accident in Baltimore. Stripped of narrative, conceptual relationships come across with less emotion.

On a personal note, I’m shaken by this catastrophe. It’s a major human and economic disaster. My thoughts are with everyone affected — especially those who lost loved ones.

Changes

  • Edited RDF prompt so it focuses on a central subject.
