Models are ideas about the world — how it might be organized and how it might work. Models describe relationships: parts that make up wholes; structures that bind them; and how parts behave in relation to one another.

Modelor.ai is a laboratory for exploring AI sensemaking tools. That is: not AI tools that think, but AI tools that help humans think.

The first of these is LLMapper, a command-line tool that generates simple concept maps from arbitrary URLs on the internet. (Well, not that arbitrary. At first, it’s limited to Wikipedia pages. That will change.)

For now, this site simply records my experiments with (and development of) LLMapper. That will change as well. Most concept maps currently generated by the tool have errors. They’re only shared here for educational purposes, as I tweak the prompts to (hopefully) make it better.

The site is maintained by Jorge Arango. Please get in touch if you have comments, questions, or suggestions.
